How unique is a birthday? Since it can be any of 366 dates, I had assumed that the chance of meeting another with the same birthday is one in 366 and hence quite rare. So I was surprised when I came across a statement that any group of 28 persons is likely to have at least one pair sharing a birthday. I decided to check with the mbfamily birthdates. Looking for 3 to 4 pairs, I discovered much more!
Three persons, Shubha, Prakash and Dr Madhu have their birthday on Oct 11
Dr Madhusudan and Lata were born on Jan13
Amrita shares Suresh’s birthday- Jan 30
Sachin shares Jyothsna’s birthday-Mar 21
Madhukar shares Ramesh’s date of birth-May2
Shyam shares Sughosh’s birthday-May 15
Madhavi and Anandrao were born on July, 6
Neha shares Sharad’s birthday-July28 
Sammit shares Sanjeev’s birthday-Aug 26
Guru shares his father’s birthday-Oct 5

Ravivaar seems to be innovating itself throughout. The crossword was fun exercise. Meanwhile, I have created crosswords for an intercolegiate Cultural festival that my college hosted. I picked up a useful software to build crosswords.It is called Eclipse and is a rather small program. http://www.eclipsecrossword.com .It creates the grids once you key in the words and it can also be designed to make it interactive.
I have attached one of my (amateurish, I must warn) attempts. It is a Business Crossword. please let me know how you find it.
